This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and engage our handyman services, including through our Galactic Fix mobile application.

Information We Collect

  • Personal Identification Information: Name, address, phone number, email address, and any other information you provide when scheduling or using our services.
  • Contact Form Submissions: When you submit our website contact form, we collect your name, phone number, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your service inquiry. By submitting the form, you consent to us contacting you regarding your request.
  • Service-related Information: Details about services requested, service history, communications, appointment schedules, and ZIP code verification.
  • Phone and Call Communications: When you call our phone number, your call is handled by a third-party call center service provider on our behalf. The call center may collect your name, phone number, and details of your service request for the purpose of booking, consultation, and follow-up. Calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.
  • Technical Information: Device identifiers, OS, app version, IP address, crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics), and app usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). We may also collect cookie data, browser type, and traffic information.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our handyman services.
  • To communicate with you regarding service requests, appointments, and updates.
  • To verify service area availability based on your location.
  • To improve our services and customer experience.

Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions and service request data for up to 24 months from the date of collection, or as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@galactic-dream.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Mobile Application

Our Galactic Fix mobile application has its own Privacy Policy that governs data collection within the app. When using the mobile application, both policies apply to your data.

Phone and Call Center Communications

When you contact us by phone, your call is answered and managed by a third-party call center service provider engaged by Galactic Dream LLC. This provider handles appointment booking, service consultations, and customer communications on our behalf. Your name, phone number, and service request details may be shared with and processed by this provider solely for the purpose of fulfilling your service request.

Calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes. In accordance with California law, if your call is recorded, you will be notified at the start of the call. By calling our phone number, you acknowledge that your call may be handled by a third-party provider and may be recorded as permitted under applicable law.

Disclosure of Your Information

  • Subcontractors or service providers necessary to fulfill your service requests.
  • Third-party call center service provider that handles inbound phone calls, appointment booking, and customer consultations on our behalf.
  • SMS service providers for appointment notifications and verification.
  • Analytics and crash reporting services (such as Google Firebase).

Advertising and Tracking Tools

Our website uses the following third-party tracking and security technologies:

  • Google Analytics — measures website traffic and user behavior. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google Tag Manager — manages and deploys tracking scripts. Data is processed according to Google’s privacy policy.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure. We maintain industry-standard security practices for both website and mobile application data.

Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals. Third-party services such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may collect information about your browsing activity across sites. You can opt out of such tracking via the tools listed in the Advertising and Tracking Tools section above.

Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83)

California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes, and the names and addresses of those third parties. We share identifiers and browsing activity with Meta (Facebook) for advertising and retargeting purposes. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

This section applies to California residents. If you reside in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
